Reviving Old Vintage Styles for a Modern Twist

It's been a while since I last sewed something for myself, and I have to say, this is the perfect dress to make a comeback. Let's start with the fabric. This beautiful linen print is ideal for the dress. Being a fan of prints, I was immediately drawn to this fabric when I saw it online.

I'm actually a fan of vintage patterns, but the original instructions can be a bit challenging for me. This @simplicity pattern uses updated instructions, and they're fantastic. The pattern claims it's a "VERY EASY" pattern, and I completely agree. I'd categorize it as beginner-friendly. It includes a zipper, but it's not an invisible one, just a regular zipper.

I literally made this dress in 3 hours! I absolutely love it and would definitely make it again!
