The beauty of knowing how to sew is you can see something and say...I want it like this and produce just that! I tested the @criswoodsews #daydreamdress in summer fabric and I loved it. If you haven't been under a rock, you know the weather has been crazy. It's winter one day and summer the next. One day out of the blue summer decided to make an appearance. I grabbed the summer version of this dress and put it on for work. If you didn't know, I work from home. First off the dress is all out cute and it was so freakin' comfortable. I immediately thought I want to make a winter version of this and TADA...here it is. I love it.
I love that this is a no waste sew...all measurements. Everything that Cris puts out is dope so go and grab this pattern. I would make this again and again.
"The Dets"
I used this Super soft stretch corduroy fabric from @halalsfabrics in Philly that I purchased over a year ago and it's perfect. If you look at the pattern...it is a lot longer, I modify mine to a baby doll-type version. I think that looks better on my body. The boots are so comfortable, I can walk all day in them and I've had them for years.
